Sweet Relic
is a european style bakery, cafe and antique shop located in St John's oldest surviving structure from 1804. The two and a half storeyed hipped-roof building is and excellent example of later eighteenth / early nineteenth century homes. The structure was built for James Anderson who was a sergeant in the militia at the time.
The first floor now houses Sweet, where one can choose from artisanal breads, sweet treats and fine coffee and teas. The second level is our antique shop, Relic, home to antique art, books, furniture and the largest collection of antique clocks in Newfoundland. |
